SMUDGE

I can't believe that today is the final day of Restyle 2014!! July was a very busy month getting ready for it, but since the start of August it's actually just flown past! It's been so much more work that I originally thought it was going to be, but I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity! Thank you to Telstra Perth Fashion Festival for choosing me to be one of the official Restyle bloggers for this year! I didn't think that I would be chosen in a million years, but I'm so glad I was. It's been so amazing! Thank you to the incredible people at Anglicare WA for letting me into your lives and come shopping with you for the past couple months. Your support has gone above and beyond! (Did you know that some of the girls there would text me if something amazing came in store that could work for one of the prompts!?) Seriously. Thank you my incredibly creative (and crazy handsome) husband, for being my knight in shining armour and photographer for almost all of the shoots! Any spare moment after work and every weekend day, we would cram in a bunch of shoots one after the other. Whatever will we do with our spare time now?! Thank you gorgeous bestie Anita from Mayfly Photography for taking the time out to do a bunch of shoots with me too. If you haven't already, go and check out her work. She is exceptional. Lastly, but definitely not least, thank you to Lotterywest Grants for funding the whole project! None of this would have been possible without you.

What an adventure!!

For todays challenge, I am donating this gorgeous pinky-peach lace and tulle dress to Anglicare WA! It's been sitting in my closet and although I love it, it's time for it to go to a better cause!

What are you donating? It's sometimes a really tough decision to let something go, (especially if you're a bit of a hoarder like me!) but it's so worth it!! Remember to upload and tag your photos with #Restyle2014 so we can see for the last time!!
I hope in some small way you've been inspired to donate and/or shop at Op Shops! I've had some really great feedback from a bunch of people which is so great to hear. That's what it's all about!

Congrats to all the other Restyle bloggers!! We made it!
We'll be walking the runway at Telstra Perth Fashion Festival on Sept 19 and Sept 21. See you there.

Have a beautiful day,

I was a little nervous about doing this prompt! I feel like denim doesn't always suit me very well, and this isn't just 'singular' denim.. but it is in fact 'DOUBLE' denim! So I just had to put my insecurities aside, and go for it! I picked out a pair of light blue jeans from Anglicare WA's Kelmscott store. I actually loved how they fit, and couldn't believe how cheap they were! I paired it with a denim jacket also from Anglicare WA, some trusty red lippy, and some fun heels!

What did you find for todays Double Denim prompt? Remember to upload and tag your photos with #Restyle2014 so we can see!

How much fun is this furry tiger striped jacket that I bought from Anglicare WA! I seriously adore it. I love to wear things with a little texture in them, especially something furry that makes my husband want to hug me even more than usual! It was a statement piece, so whatever I paired it with, it had to be kept simple. I decided on some black jeans, ankle boots, my beloved Hello Parry hat and a clutch that I also bought at Anglicare WA.

What did you find for todays prompt? I can't believe the photo-a-day-challenges are almost over!! Remember to upload and tag your photos with #Restyle2014 so we can see your 'textured' looks.

The skirt that I bought for the prompt 'Maxi' is hands down one of my favourite pieces that I found for all of the TPFF challenges! I bought it from Anglicare WA's Morley store (who are hosting a VIP night TONIGHT! Details here) and I couldn't believe how cheap it was!! It is so my style, and something you can either dress up for a night out, or dress down for the beach. I decided to go more dressy for the shoot though, so I paired it with another top that I fell in love with from Anglicare WA, and some of their heels too. I felt so good in this outfit!

What did you find for this challenge? Can't wait to see! Remember to upload and tag your photos with #Restyle2014 so we can see.

What are your thoughts on this white 'fringe' vest I found at Anglicare WA? You can wear it either opened or closed, which gives two very different looks. It took me a little while to figure out what to pair it with, as everything was looking really country on me! I didn't give up though, and ended up pairing it with these gorgeous loose pink shorts, also from Anglicare WA, that you may recognise from this shoot! I threw on a pretty necklace and some heels to keep it really feminine.

Lots of people were a little nervous about todays prompt! What did you find for it? Remember to upload and tag #Restyle2014 so we can see!

On one of my first trips to Anglicare WA to look for prompt clothes, I stumbled across a retro set of a pineapple crop and tight skirt! Although I immediately fell in love with the crop top, I wasn't a big fan of the skirt on my figure. I bought the set anyway and planned to pair the crop top with something else. On one of my last trips to Anglicare WA, I found the most incredible vintage orange shorts. I still can not get over them!! I couldn't believe how cheap they were and how they just fit like a glove! I thought it would be really interesting to pair these two together, and thought the colours would mesh perfectly! With my figure, I wouldn't usually feel comfortable walking the streets with a crop top and some shorts. However, it was a really fun experiment, and I loved the result! I felt like I was on holiday somewhere tropical! - That may have been the pineapples.

What did you come up with for Cropped? Remember to upload and tag your photos with #Restyle2014 so we can all see!

I scored this incredible original 80's nightie from Anglicare WA in Midland! It's one of my favourite pieces I've found so far. So vibrant and fun, I fell in love with it instantly. When I tried it on, it was a bit of an awkward fit though, and wasn't something I would have worn out as it was. So I gathered up the side and tied it into a knot. It made all the difference! If you have a loose dress that hangs at an odd length on you, give this a try and you'll be pleasantly surprised!

What did you find for today's bold 'Graphic' prompt? Upload and tag your photos with #Restyle2014 so we can see!
