I am so excited to announce who we've booked as our wedding photographer!!

*Drum Roll...* Loren of Nectarine Photography!

Loren has been my dream wedding photographer for a little over a year now, and I am so excited to have her capture our wedding in just 2 weeks time!! When I booked her, I couldn't believe she was available for our wedding date.

Loren contacted me recently and asked if Joe and I would like to do a complimentary pre-wedding session with her, just to get familiar with her and being in front of the camera. On top of that, I think that having some photos taken just before we get married will be really special to look back on.

I really love what she does with her photos. Have a peek at us geeks.

Joe & I celebrated our engagement with a diy garden party. From the pom pom flowers to the lemonade stand the whole day had a homey rustic vibe. Our party was appropriately held out doors under our treehouse! Have a look at the video above to see.

I still can't believe Joe is now my fiancé! I am so in love with this man and can't imagine my days without him. He has become a part of me, my other half. He understands my rambles, and laughs at my jokes. He is so understanding and takes care of my heart. He never makes me feel silly, but instead, he is a total goof with me. Best of all, he loves and encourages me everyday, and makes me want to be the best version of me I can be.

My oldest and closest bestie, Anita, is a photographer. It is amazing what she can do with a camera. She was so generous to take some photos of Joe and I to celebrate our engagement. She's such a doll, I love her.

She decided it would be appropriate to photograph us with our 'mostly-done' treehouse!
