For this weeks nails challenge, I decided to go green! But I felt like something a little more than just plain green. Something with two tones. And so appeared my Nerdy Neon Nails!

For this look, simply paint a coat of nail polish all over your nail. I went with a neon green. Let it dry.
Then dab some white nail polish on the ends, however thick and messy as you like. Let it dry.
Then paint a thin coat of the original colour you used all over the nail again. This creates the perfectly matched two tones!
Try this with any colour your like! I'm thinking either pink or orange would also look great.

Have fun, and as always, send me photos of your creations!

Have a beautiful day,

On our deck, there's a table we like to sit at while we eat breakfast. The light breeze and sunshine is divine in the mornings. However the table didn't always look so lovey! I didn't like it at all! The legs of the table were silver metal, and the top of the table was plastic, cold and felt cheap.
So it was time to change it! I decided to paint the legs white to match our other furniture. But the best part was that we had spare old decking laying around, it even still had the screws sticking out of it! So I had this fun thought that we could cover the plastic table in the decking! Not only would it look rustic and lovely, but it would actually perfectly match our decking!

And so the project began!
A couple hours later, and BOOM! A new table! I really love it, it's suits us so much better now. Thank goodness Joe is so handy with all the cutting tools. Otherwise I fear I may have lost a finger or two!

I'm so excited for future breakfast's sitting at this table together.

Have a beautiful day,

For the Guestbook at our wedding, I wanted to have peoples love notes pegged up on some string! However, I didn't want plain pegs, so I decided to make 100 vintage fabric covered pegs.

Since then, the wedding has been and gone, but the pegs are still very much present! So yesterday, I was trying to come up with a creative way to use the pegs inside, when Joe mentioned using magnets!! And that was it! Why not add magnets to the back of the pegs so that we can peg up some old polaroids on the fridge?! He is a genius.
Firstly, you will need some plain wooden pegs and some desired material.
Then cut out strips of the material and glue them to the pegs, cutting off the excess material. Super simple.
Optional: Write a note to someone.
Then super glue some small magnets to the back of the pegs and they're finished! Go on and peg up some of your favourite photos onto the fridge!!
Happily Yours,
